Join us at Bowhouse on 16th August for a guided tour of Land & Sea, our landmark exhibition exploring Scotland's pivotal role in the birth of fine art photography and how contemporary artists are reshaping its stories today. The exhibition brings together some of the UK and Europe's most renowned photographers, united by a shared search for the singular and the quietly extraordinary within the natural world.

The tour will be led by curator Alexander Moore.

Alexander Moore graduated with a degree in photography from Staffordshire University in 2011. Following an early career as an award-winning photographer, he joined Huxley-Parlour, one of London’s leading photography galleries, where he helped establish a programme of international contemporary exhibitions and authored Steve McCurry: Afghanistan(2014). In 2015, he joined the studio of fashion photographer Mario Testino, leading the delivery of museum exhibitions in Berlin, Dubai, New York, Amsterdam, Lima and Copenhagen. Moore joined Dulwich Picture Gallery in 2018 where he is now Creative Producer. He has more than fifteen years’ experience in art publishing and has edited over fifty art and photography titles.
